Beneath the bells, something waits.

Cordelia is a manuscript conservator. The diary on her bench is fire-marked, dated 1888, and of unknown origin. Then the ink begins to move.

Beneath Blackfriars Bridge is Sunder, a Thames Guardian made of horn, stone, and silence. A man's grief has held him in chains for forty years. The Beast Beneath the Bells opens The Troth with a crossing of time and a bond that asks more than either of them expects.

The King Beneath the Hill carries the series west to Glastonbury, 1539. Ceramics conservator Tamsin Hollis follows a mysterious tile into the past and finds Gwyn, a Warden who has held a door beneath the Tor for two thousand years. Each book follows a different couple and can be read on its own.
